A convertible tablet PC looks much like a small laptop. Apart from the screen it works just like a traditional laptop. The monitor is attached special hinge that allows the screen to rotate, which makes it an extremely powerful tool for small customer presentations and demonstrations.
The monitor is also capable of swiveling around and altitude above the keyboard with the screen up. This gives the appearance of the list traditional tablet PC. Convertible Tablet PC traditionally have a larger screen, hard drive bigger, more battery and other accessories. These supplements make it a much more powerful platform, but they are also heavier and more expensive.
Tablet PC is a PC for you? The real question is how do you portable computing lifestyle should be? Do you spend a lot of time outside a traditional office environment? Do you need to use a computer to record or take notes while you are on foot, or move from one place to another, so a tablet PC is the perfect choice for you? For vendors or businessmen who spend a lot of time to travel a convertible tablet is probably a much better option. It gives them more power and more features, with a more traditional computer setup.
