As it describe on it name, foreign exchange is a market where people around the world trade and exchange currencies from many country. Although it say all currencies, but in the reality is the majority of foreign exchange are dominate only by those major currencies from big country that have a superior economic power, like United Stated with their US dollar, UK with their Sterling’s, European countries with their Euro, Japan with their Yen and others.
All these currencies are trade each other on the place called spot market around the world, the value of the currencies are measure base on the original economic condition from it based country that release it. It could be very fluctuate, since the global economic condition are also rapidly change and balancing each other all the time, base on their economic situation, political policy and industrial power. This condition create what we called as spread between currencies, where by analyzing and predict the currency movement, a foreign exchange trader could gain a profit by trade them each other.
This last decades, a new wave of trading currencies called online forex trading are become so popular, since the fast advances of internet technology. Unlike the old time where people should go to the spot market to do the trade or use the broker help and other third parties to represent them on the process, today every people could trade by them self on the online forex market from home, on their computer that connected to the internet. Its very easy and simple, almost everybody could involve, regardless the background and capitalization.
But, don’t get me wrong, trading online indeed easy, but how to gain profit from it is another different thing. To predict where the currencies will go and gaining profit from it is not as simple as it looked.
