The First Bottle of Scotch, a Brief History

As its name suggests, the Scotch was originally produced in Scotland by Br John Cor. After distillation was introduced by monks Scots in 1494, fine scotch has become a popular drink.

To the consternation of scotch and whiskey drinkers, whiskey has been imposed in 1644. This has caused an increase in what we call today “bootleggers” who manufactured and sold illegally Scotch whiskey. Later, in 1823, the Scottish Parliament has made it easier for one to possess a ’s distillery and difficult for illegal images of whiskey to stay in business.

It started modern production of Scotch whiskey. Today, fine scotch whiskey production is much more advanced: It must be to meet the demand for this popular beverage. However, you will not find fine Scotch made by the USA, to decorate the name “Scotch” whiskey must be distilled and matured in Scotland.
