High Cholesterol, Watched Out!
High Cholesterol diagnosis is a very common nowadays by doctors when dealing with patients. Cholesterol has been identified as increasing the risk of heart disease. But what is cholesterol at all? Cholesterol is a substance produced by the human liver. The body produces cholesterol in establishing acids which contribute to the digestion of fat we eat with our meal. Cholesterol is also expected to build and repair cells. It is also part of the process to produce estrogen and testosterone, the hormone. Most people affected by high cholesterol had never heard of what cholesterol is and what it does.
