In early 1980, as VCR prices declined and appeared in more and more houses, there was a sudden and massive appeal for people in their old Super 8 home movies converted to video. Video tapes over the latter film and just made sense to convert the old reels in a more watchable and compact format. People have made their films from their baby’s first steps, birthdays, weddings and make videotapes. Shortly afterwards, video cameras has become profitable for people to buy and those old Super 8 cameras and projectors went the way of the dodo. People began to use videotapes for everything and the wedding video was born.
