Other buyers last-minute Christmas include those born just procrastinators. They can go to every weekend stores in October or November. This could be an excellent opportunity for them to do their Christmas shopping done early but instead they wind up window shop or buy items for themselves. Even if they are aware of the Christmas season is near, they do not feel compelled to start until the absolute last minute. When this happens, they are in the unfortunate position of fighting the last-minute crowds in a frenzy of Christmas shopping.
Finally, there are others who are the buyers of last-minute Christmas simply because that’s when they prefer to do their Christmas shopping. Some of these buyers see shopping at the last minute as a challenge. They know they are short on time but are confident that they will be able to find great gifts for everyone on their Christmas list this year. Other buyers who intentionally wait until the last minute to do their Christmas shopping may do so because they enjoy the excitement of the crowd. While Christmas shopping last minute can be stressful, it is often exciting. Those who enjoy the excitement of shopping at the last minute, because it gives them a sense of power they do not feel if they were Christmas gifts for the stores in October.
