Its a Mens Dream to Make a Better Future
A few days ago, I reed a good articles on the internet that blow me off. This article is talking about a great idea from some regular man who has a dream to make a change for a group of teen whose hang their dream and dedicated their youth on basketball and rely on it to make a good living and support their life. The man on the article indeed makes a certain good point and it really make sense and reflected the sad irony behind the glory of college basketball biz.
Do you know about the fact that college basketball players have the worst graduation rate nationally, where many of them were failed to get their degree? Very little of them indeed make a fortune on the game biz, but majority of them are ended up to be a looser. This man have a high hope and dream to make a change and provide a better future for those teen athlete whose spend most of their times for playing in college basketball league and just getting exploited by their institution and never get a fair portion of $1.7 billion worth of fortunes that pouring around on the business.
Its Paul McMann dreams to make it true by founding a new league called Collegiate Professional Basketball League or CPBL in order to give a better option for those young athletes. Who is Paul McMann anyway? this guy are known before as regular white collars who have background on real estate, sales representative, financial services and also teaching finance as a college professor at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. He also once accepts an achievement as an affiliate with Blue Coast Financial Group.
back to the basketball league issues, Paul give a full support, both in financial and academic skills, in order to reform a better college league which dedicated to helping college basketball players fulfill their dreams, And his dream was come true In 1998, where Paul appointed as founder and president of Collegiate Professional Basketball League (CPBL). A new league that could brings a new hope for those talented players, in order to achieve both education and of course a paycheck.
