In early 1980, as VCR prices declined and appeared in more and more houses, there was a sudden and massive appeal for people in their old Super 8 home movies converted to video. It is time to convert once more. The DVD discs over the last videotape, offers a better quality picture and sound, and can turn over videotapes. By converting your wedding video on DVD, you can make memories that you saved will last even longer.

The process of converting your wedding video on DVD is not complicated, but to get there you will need some special equipment. Of course, you’ll need a DVD recording device and a means for your VCR to connect. If you have a DVD burner on your computer, you’re halfway there. You’ll also need a way for your VCR to interface with your computer. Most computers are not supplied with a way to do so. You will need to install a TV card on your computer that has inputs that correspond to your video products. Most cards have two RF TV and A/V inputs.

Then you’ll need to register the wedding video on the hard disk of the computer. May You need special software to do this if your TV card did not come with any bundled. Sony Vegas video is good, but there are a number of titles available. Keep in mind that the video will take a lot of disk space. For the video to be put on DVD, it should be in a format MPEG. Your video recording software should be able to put this way. Once that is done, is simply a matter of using your burning software to transfer DVD video on a DVD that you can watch it on any DVD player. The software instructions for doing so. Once the process (which may take some time, be warned) is complete, viola! Your wedding video is now on DVD and can be appreciated forever.
