This job requires hard work and can often be dangerous and stressful. You’ll no doubt be in close contact with criminals and victims of crime. But a special agent of the work is rewarding if you like the public service. Well before applying for a job as an FBI special agent, you’ll need to plan carefully what you must do to qualify.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are special agents of the government primary investigators, who investigate a criminal offense of more than 260 laws that are not assigned to another federal agency. May surveillance officers to monitor wiretaps, examine financial records, or participate in missions to infiltration, just to name a few.

The FBI investigation into organized crime, white-collar crime, such as health care fraud, the fight against terrorism, copyright infringement, violations of civil rights, bank robbery, extortion, the kidnapping, terrorism, espionage, violent crimes, drug trafficking and other violations of federal laws. Fight against corruption of public officials at all levels. Protecting civil rights. Transnational and the fight against criminal organizations and national companies. Fight against major white-collar crime. Significant the fight against violent crime. Support federal, state, county, municipalities and international partners and Upgrading technology to successfully accomplish the FBI’s mission.

An here is the entry requirements, which is including: Being a citizen of the USA, or a citizen of the Northern Mariana Islands, Be at least 23 years but less than 37,Be available to work when and where necessary, Pass hearing and vision tests, including a review of color, Have a valid driver’s license, Being in excellent physical condition and Have a national or regional accredited 4-year degree in a foreign language, law, accounting, or another field, plus three years of full-time job.

The FBI is looking for job seekers who have skills in questioning, reporting, monitoring and testify. The selection process also includes cognitive tests, interviews, background checks, polygraph test and drug test. The FBI is also interested in people with character traits such as honesty and good decision. An example would be a requirement of the EPR, a term 1.5 miles test, passed with scores of 14 minutes 10 seconds or less for females and 12 minutes 40 seconds or under for men.

The candidate for a scientific position must first qualify for an existing program and have a degree in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, nursing, bio-chemistry, forensic science, medical specialties, or in a field related. The candidate in a legal position should science major in biochemistry, biology or biotechnology. The Forensic scientific analysis of evidence such as hairs, firearms, DNA, photographs, fingerprints and writing examples and demonstrated both verbally and in writing.
